Terracotta Body Scrub is a natural ubtan-style body scrub built from four kitchen ingredients that Indian skincare has trusted for generations — green gram powder, gram flour, orange peel powder and sweet orange essential oil. Green gram powder (moong dal) is the gentle powerhouse — enriched with saponins that naturally cleanse and whisk away excess oil and dirt. Its fine texture exfoliates dead skin cells without micro-tears or irritation making it ideal even for sensitive skin. Gram flour (besan) adds its own saponin-rich cleansing action — particularly beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin that needs thorough cleansing without stripping.
Orange peel powder is where the brightening happens. Rich in natural citric acid and Vitamin C it gently reduces the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation and tan. Pectin from the orange peel hydrates and softens skin as you scrub — so you step out nourished not just clean. Sweet orange essential oil completes the experience with an uplifting, fresh citrus fragrance.
Use as a powder on wet skin, or mix with milk, yogurt or water to create a traditional paste — exactly as your grandmother did.
